The story about us

In the summer of 2023, we started a new wallpaper brand: Amsterdam Wall Lab.

With our passion for interior design and decorated walls, we thought it was time to shake up the wallpaper world a little bit. We want to make contemporary wallpaper affordable and accessible to anyone who wants to change their home.

A new and fresh interior works wonders, and as far as we're concerned, it starts with the walls. That's the basis of everything. With a simple intervention such as wallpapering a single wall (or the entire room), you create a completely different atmosphere that will make you happy again. Wallpaper is very often used in makeover programs on television, which makes perfect sense to us.

To combine forces

Over the years we developed our individual talents and expertise in design, marketing, and finance.

At a certain point we realized that we would be stronger if we joined forces. With this in mind, we decided to start a company in wallpaper together. A logical step for us since wallpaper is perfect for breathing new life into an interior.

Amsterdam Wall Lab was born.

When we started Amsterdam Wall Lab, we had a clear vision: to design wallpaper that not only serves as a decorative element in the home, but also as a statement of personality and style. We want to transform boring walls into true works of art that tell a story and reflect the personal taste of the customer.

In addition, we want to make wallpaper affordable and accessible to everyone. Because our wallpaper is not available in stores or web shops, but exclusively through our own web shop, we can keep the price as affordable as possible. This way everyone can succeed with us.

Although we prefer to make beautiful designs that make people happy, we find it just as important to offer good quality.

That is why we enjoy working with one of the best wallpaper producers in the Netherlands, who considers quality just as important as we do.

Our wallpaper is digitally printed on a top quality non-woven wallpaper with a beautiful matte coating. This means that you can carefully wipe the wallpaper with a damp cloth in the unlikely event that a stain appears on it.

In addition, the coating ensures that you can also use this wallpaper in less obvious areas, such as the kitchen, bathroom, or toilet.

Finally: this wallpaper is so easy to apply yourself, anyone can do it. That's because you put the glue on the wall, so you don't need a wallpapering table. Clear adhesive instructions are supplied with each roll. Give it a try. It's fun to do too!
